About Mike Kind
Mike Kind, author of Re-energize Your Printing Business is an industry strategist, well versed in detecting trends and direction, reacting to market dynamics, making necessary changes and negotiating the pitfalls while keeping an organization on course. Mike is the founder of the JKG Group, a marketing and corporate communications company in Boca Raton, Florida. He started the company as a printer with one employee at the age of twenty-three in 1984 and sold a controlling interest ten years later. He stayed on as president and chief operating officer and in 2000, despite the industry-wide recession; he and his team reengineered the company into a marketing and corporate communications solutions provider, creating one of the largest organizations of its kind in the country. He was a pioneer in the area of online ordering applications for both print and fulfillment of marketing and corporate communications collateral, achieving industry wide acceptance from major corporations seeking to reduce their costs. This led to significant corporate growth; revenues increased by over 300% over a four year period in the midst of the 9/11 and the dot-com bust, one of the worst economic fallouts in this country’s history.
